HAPPYBURFDAI BRO

So I was bumming around at Powell’s today and decided to hit the game store that is next door. I like the place, I generally pick up Genesis games from them because they sell them cheap. They don’t really sell in what I’d call “collectible” condition (See the Master Blaster 2 cartridge there), but I’m okay with that. I just want stuff I can play. I don’t know what the rules are for it, but they almost never part with the cases for the cartridges along with the games. I think they keep them for display until they sell the last cartridge. So I’m cruising the rack, and I spot Vectorman 1&2, pick those up because I liked them. Picked up Master Blaster 2 because that’s huge nostalgia for me, personally, I played it a lot. Then I spot Shining Force for $19.99 and got pretty excited, I’d played it a lot via emulation but figured it’d be fun to own the cartridge. 

I nearly exploded when the dude came back with not only the cartridge, but the case, and the manual. I’m really glad I picked it up, the manual and the cartridge both are in really great shape, all things considered, and the case is to. I’m looking forward to playing this. 

In other words, this find was  SUPERIOR SWAG.

I can’t believe this got here today in the mail. I honestly had thought my order was lost in the mail or it got forgotten or something. It’s an album that an artist I like called Reactionary put out, it’s pretty swag collection of Ravecore music. I always forget that it comes in from just across town, Portland is just a jaunt across town from Hillsboro. Seems they threw in a copy of Ravecore masters to. Dunno what I’ll do with it, I already have a copy. I’ll probably give it to Thistle or something. 

So this alcove used to be empty. It’s up above my closet and I had no idea what in the hell to do with it. So I stuffed a bunch of empty figure boxes in it, covered those with that heap of paperbacks, then I plopped my Fumo’s and such up there. I think it looks kinda neat. Just another of my “holy fuck I’ still cleaning this shitpile while” updates.
